Become an RDPG Member Today
ADA members can join the RDPG in the spring as part of the annual ADA membership renewal. The annual fee is $25 for active ADA members and $10 for student members.
You can join the RDPG during the year on the ADA website by going through your ADA Member Information site.

RDPG members are dietitians keenly interested in research about dietetics, food and nutrition.
We are dietetic professionals involved in many aspects of research, including:

RDPG members work with other professions on collaborative research projects and public health initiatives. Many members are involved in current efforts to identify the best way to integrate food and nutrition into the prevention of obesity.

- Obtain CPEU from RDPG activities, including CPEU-approved articles in The Digest and free webinars to members.
- Apply for RDPG Awards including the RDPG Seed Grant, Student Undergraduate Award and Student Graduate Student Award. These are given annually.

Remember the student membership option!
RDPG members who work with students can encourage them to join our DPG and be actively involved. There is a reduced rate ($10) for student membership. Our students are future leaders in our group and we want them involved and connected.

- What networking opportunities are available for RDPG members?
- Join the RDPG google group electronic mailing list to share and receive timely information on upcoming events/activities, funding opportunities, job announcements, and professional issues. Contact the incoming or outgoing RDPG secretary if you need assistance with your google group access.
- Use the electronic mailing list to ask for expert assistance and advice on research topics from other RDPG members.
- Attend the Annual Research DPG Member Breakfast during FNCE to make new friends across the country.
- Find out what is happening with nutrition research in Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Centers nationwide by monitoring the RDPG CTS Sub-unit activities. These include quarterly articles in The Digest and a special gathering at FNCE.
- Volunteer to work on RDPG activities and meet research dietitians from around the country.
