Student Funding Opportunities

Research DPG Student Pilot Grant Funding: Benefits and Uses

When: April 14, 6:00-7:00PM CT

The goal of this webinar is to discuss student projects using Research DPG pilot grant funding, including what projects work well for these types of funding opportunities and how advisors can assist students in obtaining grant funding. Two speakers will present their recent projects that have benefited from funding awards by the Research DPG, followed by a structured Q&A to discuss aspects of developing projects that can benefit from smaller pilot grant funding awards. We will also discuss an upcoming grant opportunity for students through the Research DPG.

  • LesLee Funderburk PhD, RD, CSSD, CSCS – Assistant Professor in Family and Consumer Sciences and Program Director for the Dietetic Internship Program at Baylor University
  • Jeffery Heileson MS, RD – Doctoral Student and Researcher at Baylor University
