Mentoring and Leadership: What's the Connection?

Transformational leadership is an approach in which causes an internal and external change in a mentoring partnership. Reciprocal mentoring is designed to benefit both parties, thus enabling transformational leadership within both individuals. This interactive webinar is designed to assist in cultivating those transformational leadership qualities and provide you with tools to enhance your mentoring partnership.

Speaker:
Dr. Kristen Hicks-Roof is a Registered Dietitian and an Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of North Florida. Her major research interests focus on program development and evaluation using virtual technology. One program is focused on interprofessional education and communication among the healthcare team. The second program is focused on virtual project-based mentoring in dietetics. She is an expert at mentoring program development and evaluation, with emphasis on leadership integration. Dr. Hicks-Roof is an active researcher, having presented her research at over 70 invited and professional presentations and has over 70 published articles and media.
